Dear Teen Author Boot Campers-
Due to the recent concern with coronavirus and at the recommendation of state and national authorities to reduce travel and limit large gatherings, Teen Author Boot Camp (TABC) has been postponed until the fall. Our ultimate concern is for the safety of our students and our communities.

When will TABC be rescheduled?
At this time, all conference coordinators are working hard to secure a date for fall of 2020. We will announce the official date to registered teens, on the website, and all social media platforms as soon as possible.
Where will TABC be held in the fall?
We are still working on our location. We will post updates as soon as we know.
Will my current paid registration be valid for TABC in the fall?
Yes. We hope that all our students can attend. Your registration will be held and valid at the price you have already paid. If you would like to come, you simply have to do nothing but wait.
What if I will not be able to attend in the fall?
If your schedule does not allow you to attend in the fall, refunds will be available. Please refer back to this page for details regarding that once the date is confirmed.
I entered the First Chapter Contest, the Poetry Contest, and/or the Anthology Short Story contest. What will happen?
At this time, all submissions will be held and announced at the fall conference. Any other updates or changes to contests will be announced.
I purchased a school group pass. How will that be handled?
If you are a school employee who purchased a pass, an email was sent out to all purchasers of school group passes. Check your spam folder if you didn’t receive one. Students who were coming as part of a school group should refer to their school coordinator with questions. Individual schools will make the final decisions of whether their groups will be rescheduled to fall or cancelled. Coordinators of school group passes may email if they have further questions.
I will be over the allowed age at the fall TABC. Will I still be able to come?
Yes! This is a rare circumstance and we would still love to honor your registration even if you aged out between now and fall.
Will the same authors be attending TABC in the fall? Will the same classes be offered?
At this time, all our current authors are invited to attend TABC in the fall, but their scheduling may conflict. Once we have our authors all confirmed we will post updates on our website.
We have made travel arrangements to attend TABC. What can I do?
We are so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Please check with any hotels or airlines that you have made arrangements with to handle any refunds. With the situation we are dealing with nationwide, we know that companies are being more generous with their cancellation policies.
Do I still get a free Cinder book?
We are working with Marissa Meyer to confirm her schedule and will post updates as soon as we know.
How will I survive until the new date?
Good question! We are struggling with this one, as well. :) We will be offering some fun ways to interact with TABC between now and the Fall. Please watch our website, emails, and social media platforms for new announcements.
